<B>Ava Gardner with Howard Hughes Photo Negative.</B></I> A 4.5" x 6.5" negative of a rare b&w photo of Gardner with the legendary industrialist/aviator/filmmaker -- a photo that is featured in her 1990 memoirs. Hughes (who already had quite a reputation for romancing starlets) began courting Gardner shortly after her separation from first husband Mickey Rooney. The two dated briefly, with Gardner unable to deal with Hughes' bizarre eccentricities.
