Automaton / Musical Box / Mechanischer Automat "The Clown Little Tich" mit Spielwerk, um 1910 Hersteller: "Roullet & Decamps", Paris, Spielwerk mit einer Melodie. Puppenbewegungen: Der Clown klopft mit seinen langen Schuhen auf Holzbodenplatte, zwinkert mit den Augen, beugt sich nach vorne und grüßt mit einer charmanten Bewegung das Publikum. Kopf aus Masse, Glasaugen, echtes Haar, Original-Kleidung! (Hose und Jacke leicht verschlissen). Gesamthöhe mit Sockel: 75 cm. Funktioniert ganz hervorragend. Roullet & Decamps war eine der bedeutendsten Manufakturen der Jahrhundertwende für bewegliche Puppenautomaten. - Literatur: "Automata", Christian Bailly, Paris, S. 21 + 142-3. - Äußerst selten, da die meisten erhaltenen Automaten sich bereits in Museen befinden. - Ein ganz spektakuläres Sammlungsstück von absoluter Museumsqualität! Mechanical music automaton "The Clown Little Tich", 1910, by Roullet & Decamps, Paris. Fantastic artistic design: The clown knocks with his long shoes on the floor, winks with his eyes, bows forward and greets the audience with a charming gesture.
