Autograph, Shahzada Ghulam Muhammad Sultan Sahib, 22nd June 1866, handwritten letter in English & signed at the end of it on the 2nd page in English, 130x210 mm, excellent condition, Very Rare.

Note: The last surviving son of Tipu Sultan was Prince Ghulam Muhammad Sultan Sahib. He lived between 1795 and 1872. He was Tipu's 14th son. Upon Tipu's defeat and assassination at Seringapatanam in Mysore State, the British Indian army exiled his family to Calcutta. On official letterhead bearing the logo, the two-page letter was written in English. South Calcutta's Prince Ghulam Mohammad Shah Road has been named after him as a tribute.
