Also includes a pamphlet by William Ellery Channing, ‘A Discourse…in Commemoration of the Goodness of God in delivering the Christian World from Military Despotism,’ with two holograph corrections on page four, and an unsigned mounted albumen photo of Thomas Carlyle. In overall very good condition.
