Authentic W.F & Co. Reward Flyer “For the Arrest and Conviction of Stage Robber Herein Described”; offering $1,600 for the culprit who robbed the Ager and Linkville up and down stages of its Wells, Fargo & Co.’s Express,the mails and passengers on September 3d, 1889 and then committed other stage robberies of the Canyon City and Baker City, Oregon stage and later the Roseburg and Coos Bay, Oregon stage. At the end of description ofdastardly deeps perpetrated, it is noted in the flyer “After finishing up his work he told the driver, Charles Slade, that if anybody asked who robbed the stage to tell them ‘Jack Bryant, of ‘Frisco.’” Flyer isissued by J. N. Thacker, special officer of Wells, Fargo & Co., San Francisco, who notes in closing “We have a good case against him”. The document is approx. 10” x 8” with some general staining but overall good.
