This is a strikingly majestic and artistic royal Tabriz, both in its design and quality. This is a perfect example of a sophisticated royal Tabriz design, starting with its tear drop central medallion to the detail of the spill over of the design over the secondary borders which is rather rare and unusual to come across in the market place. This royal Tabriz has a lustrous appearance of utmost beauty with its silk highlights that gives it a three dimensional character. This lovely piece is masterfully woven, knot by knot, using superior quality baby lambs wool with about 400 knots per square inch and its signed by a renowned master weaver named Ebzali. It takes over three years to weave and bring this beauty to life. Also, where a typical Rug employs between twelve to sixteen colors, this beautiful Tabriz features more than forty two different colors creating a wonderful tapestry of colors that is feast for the eyes.
