Austrian Werndl Model 1867 11.2 MM 46 R Cal full wood Military single shot Carbine w/22" bbl [ Scarce , Carbines hard to find - blue finish turning brown, fair wood, w/cleaning rod & sling swivels , After the Austrian's lost the 7 Weeks War to Prussia ( and the Dreyse needle guns ) in 1866, they initially converted their Lorenz muskets to breech loading using the Wanzl system as a stop-gap. They then adopted the Werndl as a newly manufactured breechloader, single shot , which used a rotating drum breech system.
