Austrian 1857 dated percussion musket, .56-58 cal. rifled barrel, gray patina finish with original ramrod, numbered 2.20 at left side of breech over 16 1. The lock shows a 857 marking (1857); the right side of the barreljust above the edge of the lock shows the markings S11X X M T . The metal surfaces are in good condition, show some light erosion, spotting, surface pitting; the stock is good to very good. In its as issued militaryconfiguration, lock is working. These Austrian muskets were imported and used during the Civil War. Est.: $350-$700

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
