The denominations here are filled in by hand, and, although the issuer is the County Treasurer, the Chief Justice and County Clerk sign as well, as they do on all of the remaining issues from the Treasurer's office. This series of notes was issued to allow payments to be made from the special tax that was levied by the county in early 1862. <B>Very Good,</B></I> backed, with a repaired tear.<BR><I>From The William A.
