<B>Austin, TX- State of Texas</B></I> $1000 Aug. 5, 1870.<BR>This <B>Good-Very Good</B></I> bond has been pen-cancelled after one coupon was redeemed. It has some moisture stains, edge tears, notches, and a couple of small internal holes. It was once mounted with two stamp hinges. The bond is signed by Governor Edw(ard). J. Davis, 1870-74, former Union general.
