<B>Austin, TX- Republic of Texas</B></I> $100 Bond 1839 Cr. 39B<BR>This bond is signed by the president of the republic, M(irabeau) B(uonaparte) Lamar. This bond has the folds of a <B>Very Fine,</B></I> but numerous cut cancels in the bond itself and the coupons have been repaired with stamp hinges. There are also two 2.5 inch top edge tears. Another 4 inch fold split is found within the body of the bond, there are a couple of pieces missing from the left edge, and it has been mounted.<BR><I>From The William A.
