Seminal and highly lauded French sculptor (1840–1917) whose works, including the iconic The Kiss and The Thinker, earned him a place among the most influential artistic figures of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. ALS in French, signed “Aug Rodin,” one page, 5 x 6.5, December 11, 1904. Untranslated letter to an unknown gentleman. Matted with a portrait of Rodin, to an overall size of 14.5 x 10.5. In fine condition, with light overall toning, heavier at edges and over portion of signature, with the edge toning having been matted out for a fine display. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
