Seminal and highly lauded French sculptor (1840–1917) whose works, including the iconic “The Kiss” and “The Thinker,” earned him a place among the most influential artistic figures of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Vintage ink signature, “Aug. Rodin,” on an off-white 5 x 3.5 deckled postcard bearing an original sketch of a tribal warrior in an unknown hand. In very good condition, with mild staining, soiling, overall toning, and rubbing to the surface. Certainly, a one-of-a-kind presentation.
