ALS in German, three pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.5 x 7, May 2, 1898. Untranslated letter to the publisher Wilhelm Jacobsohn regarding an anthology, the Scandinavian section of which he had been asked to edit. In part: “But first of all I wish to know whether this is to be a collection of previously printed pieces, or whether it will be an album of unpublished material. I do not anticipated that my honorarium will be excessive.” In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope addressed in Strindberg’s hand.
