August A. Busch - St. Louis Refrigerating and Cold Storage Company (Missouri) A 1930 certificate for nine shares in brown and black issued to "August A. Busch and Rudolph Huber,Executors under will of Lilly Busch deceased." A transfer certificate is attached on the verso signed by both Busch and Huber setting forth the division of the nine shares under the terms of the will they administered. August A. Busch guided the company which bears his name through three major crises, World War I, Prohibition and the Depression. During Prohibition the Anheuser-Busch enterprise changed product lines to produce corn products, baker's yeast, ice cream, soft drinks and commercial refrigeration units. Lilly Busch was August's mother and the wife of Adolphus Busch, co-founder of the Anheuser-Busch brewing empire. This fascinating share associates both the Busch business and personal interests. Extremely Fine. Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Also please note that all Heritage/CAA lots purchased through eBay Live carry a 20% Buyer's Premium. Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions.
