The mice are shown sitting on the bank of a stream, surrounded by some vegetation. This mouse is native to the Northern grasslands of America and Canada; they have a short stout body and short tail. They almost resemble small beavers in this print. This large print is impressive in that every detail on the mouse is carefully drawn and depicted.
