Letter to Steve Forrest, who included her as a presenter on the 1991 Tony Awards broadcast. In full: “Just to say thank you once more for the experience of the ‘Tonys’ but also to express my deep gratitude for making it possible for me, and UNICEF, to plead the cause for the children of Africa–I wish I could explain to you how your kindness and generosity will have saved many little lives. Forgive me again for flaking out…before the diner [sic], but sometimes will-power is not enough. Much love from both of us.” In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope addressed in Hepburn’s hand. A touching letter mentioning Hepburn’s long-time humanitarian work.
