Audrey Hepburn's screen-worn Emporio Armani knitted waistcoat from the 1990s documentary television series Gardens of the World with Audrey Hepburn. Patterned in hot pink, green, purple, and brown, the cotton/acrylic waistcoat with floral designs, no size but likely small/medium, features a set of four fabric buttons, with Emporio Armani label sewn into collar area. The original Christie's lot tag is attached to top button. In fine condition, with expected wear from use. Provenance: Audrey Hepburn: The Personal Collection, Part III, Christie's, May 2018.

Narrated by both Michael York and Hepburn herself, Gardens of the World with Audrey Hepburn followed the Oscar-winning actress to some of the world's most beautiful, noteworthy gardens. Hepburn wore this particular waistcoat on the fourth episode of the series, entitled 'Flower Gardens,' which focused on Claude Monet's stunning gardens at Giverny and the classic perennial flower borders at Tintinhull House in Somerset, England. In the fall of 1993, Hepburn posthumously earned her first and only Emmy Award when she and Gardens of the World won for Outstanding Individual Achievement, Informational Programming.
