The auction company has made a sampling of the marked tube boxes in an attempt to verify that the tube number marked on the box top is indeed the tube inside the box. However, as every tube box has not been checked, the auctioneer does not guarantee all tube boxes are correctly marked. Again, if you have specific requests to verify type and/or quality of tube, contact the auctioneer directly at the number given elsewhere.
Large 8 cell theater tweeter horn speaker; includes network coil; field coil is good and measures 953 ohm DCR. The voice coil is also good and measures 12.7 ohm DCR. The driver appears to be tar filled (quite heavy). Probably made by Western Electric, name tag is missing, but appears to be a model 555. Name plate on back of driver is worn and not legible. Drive measures approximately 6" across. Driver binding post are marked 7V+ and 7V-. Voice coil binding posts are marked L1 and L2. Cross over network appears to be home brew.
