<p>With over 800 lots, Signature House is featuring a collection of early Presidents, including a Lottery ticket signed by George Washington, a full signature of the first President; a letter signed by Thomas Jefferson as secretary of state authorizing the first census and the first laws regarding immigration to the young nation. There is also a rare ALS by Zachary Taylor as President; an ADS by Lincoln as a practicing attorney; plus an ALS by John F. Kennedy as President and a separate lot signed by Kennedy and Maxwell Taylor regarding the CIA and John Foster Dulles.
<p>Our Colonial section includes several signers of the Declaration of Independence and features three AlsS by John Hancock. Our Americana highlights a full imperial albumen photograph of “Buffalo Bill” Cody plus a number of Western gunfighters, lawmen, Indians and other personalities.
<p>In our War Between the States category, there is a rare endorsement signed by both Stonewall Jackson and A. P. Hill; several R. E. Lee autographs in various forms; and a host of Confederate and Union generals.
<p>The Military category features the four-star staff flag belonging to Admiral Raymond Spruance; Maxwell Taylor’s very handsome dress blue visor hat; Chester Nimitz’ shoulder boards and wings.
<p>We have aviation pioneers, astronauts and explorers. Featured is an Airmail cover signed by fathers of modern transportation, both Orville Wright and Henry Ford.
<p>We have Heads of State & Royalty, artists, cartoonists, composers and classical musicians.
<p>Our Literature section features D. H. Lawrence, T.S. Elliott and many other literary luminaries such as Dickens, Hardy, Steinbeck, Kipling and Clemens.
<p>With over 60 lots in Entertainment, we have a SP of Marilyn Monroe, inscribed, writing “Love & Kisses” on a still from her film How to Marry a Millionaire, plus many other film and stage stars including Bogart, Gable, popular musicians including Presley, members of Alabama and Queen.
<p>There are two baseballs signed by Babe Ruth plus many other great sports figures and collectibles.
