***Auction Highlight*** 1852-p Seated Liberty Dollar $1 Graded Unc Details By USCG. The high price of silver in 1852 played a significant role in the limited production of silver dollars. Only 1,100 pieces were struck, possibly for depositors, and it is believed that the vast majority were either lost or were melted for their bullion. Survivors are rare in all grades, with most owing their continued existence to contemporary collectors who began saving the few remaining examples from circulation as early as 1858. The present piece is fully struck with terrific detail in all the design elements. It is one of only 25 mint state survivors. Some light hairlines account for its details designation. An important, high-end example of this No Motto Philadelphia rarity. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation
