Russell). <BR><BR>Literature: <BR>Arnauld Doria, <I>Louis Tocqué: biographie et catalogue critiques; l'oeuvre complet de l'artiste</B></I>, Paris, 1929, cat. no. 239, pp. 127-8. <BR><BR>The sitter, Louise-Françoise-Pauline de Montmorency, was the only daughter of the Prince de Tingry. She was married twice, first to the Comte de Montmorency-Luxembourg with whom she had three children, and second to Louis-François-Joseph, Prince of Montmorency-Logny.
