Attributed to George Mears (1865-1910) Oil on canvas, "S.S.Orizaba", 20 x 30.5 ins. S.S.Orizaba Built by Barrow Ship Builders, 1866 for the Pacific Steam Ship Company who later ran jointly with the Orient Line. Wrecked off Freemantle in 1905, ran aground in poor visibilty due to a bush fire. The wreck was sold for £3750. This painting was exhibited in "Sea Breezes" in 1977. £1,500-2,000
