Howard Walsh (Fort Worth, Texas);<BR>Walsh Family Art Trust<BR><BR>The village of Dedham in Suffolk is located along the River Stour, where Constable's father owned a profitable mill; the Dedham Vale straddles Suffolk and Essex counties and is less than two miles from East Bergholt, where Constable had his first studio. The artist consistently made drawings and oil sketches of various sites in and around Dedham and East Bergholt. In fact this region is today known as "Constable Country".
