Autographed First Day Cover, 1985, autograph of former Indian President “Neelam Sanjiva Reddy”, block of 4 of 1 Rupee stamps commemorating the Centenary of the Indian National Congress with images of many Congress leaders, freedom fighters and social reformers, cancelled with 2 beautiful and special edition pictorial seals depicting “Charkha”, text in Devanagari and English reads as “भारतीय राष्ट्रीय काँग्रेस की शताब्दी | CENTENARY OF THE INDIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS | बेंगलूर 28 12 85 BANGALORE”. The colourful images of different Indian flags signify various moments of Indian freedom fight and Indian National Congress like - “Vande Mataram movement” in 1908, the Lucknow Pact in 1916, the Non-Cooperation and Boycott movement of 1921, the Gandhi-Irwin pact on Satyagraha movement of 1931. The autograph of former Indian President “Neelam Sanjiva Reddy” with best wishes makes this cover very significant, good condition, Rare.
