Fitted with a round tsuba with raised engraved floral patterns, brass fuchi and end cap with light cloud engraving on the former, and a well figured hardwood grip with rat-themed menuki style ornaments. Black lacquered saya, with brass throat.

About good, showing a mixed brown and gray patina on the pistol section, along with mild pitting. An attractive brown color with plum accents is present on the tsuba, with hints of a dark patina on the brass components. A few small cracks and holes are present in the otherwise fine grip, and a few light scratches on the sheath. Mechanically excellent.
