Signed and attributed to Howard Carter (British, 1873-1939) on the verso and inscribed with date 1901. 38 x 74 cm (15 x 29.1 inches). Howard Carter was a British archaeologist and Egyptologist who became world-famous after discovering the intact tomb (designated KV62) of the 18th Dynasty Pharaoh, Tutankhamun (colloquially known as "King Tut" and "the boy king"), in November 1922.
