<B>Attested Crew List for the Sloop </B></I><B><I>Abby-Ann</B></I></B></I><B> of Charleston, 1814</B></I> 13” x 7.5”, two pages (front and verso), partially printed, July 16, 1814, Charleston, South Carolina. The crew list for the Sloop <I>Abby-Ann </B></I>signed by the ship’s master Henry Dickinson. It is to comply with “An act for the relief and protection of American Seamen”. Interestingly, the entire crew of six men were “Black Sailors attached to the vessel”. The list fails to identify the place of birth, description, or nationality of the crew.
