Purchased at the Harold's Club & Atocha Exhibition in Reno, December 1992. A Spanish Colonial 8-Reales 1619-P Phillip III of Spain, salvaged from the sunken ship Nuestra Senora De Atocha by Mel Fisher and his crew. The Atocha sank in 1622 and was salvaged in 1985. A Certificate of Authenticity signed by Mel Fisher with a photograph of the coin is included. Also a brochure "Coins Of The Lost Galleons" is signed by Mel's son Kim: "To Jim Kleiner enjoy your piece of history! Kim Fisher." Included is the original sales invoice for $2160.33.
