Rare collection of disbound Greek magazines entitled "Ta Olympia," comprising issues 1–24 and 26–52, published from November 11, 1895–December 31, 1896. The first issue features a portrait of Demetrius Vikelas, the first president of the International Olympic Committee, and the twenty-fourth issue has an illustration of the winner's medals awarded to athletes at the first Modern Olympiad. In overall good to very good condition, with toned tape remnants throughout, some chipping and fraying to edges, and the newsprint paper somewhat brittle; occasional pages may be missing. Accompanied by two uncommon hardcover copies of Olympic Games in Athens: 1896–1906 by Thanassis Tarassouleas.
