This unique Brighton Pavilion style bamboo and glass display cabinet likely dates from the early to mid 19th century, or possibly as late as the Aesthetic Movement period of the late 19th century. Measures 55.75" high by 26.5" wide by 15.5" deep. Interior features beautiful red and gold paper decoration, and top features a lovely lacquered floral design. Original door pull. Mirror is certainly old but doesn't appear to be original. There are no other known restorations or repairs of any kind. This cabinet was purchased from a leading New York city antique dealer along with a handful of other exceptional bamboo pieces, including a large mirror and side table. All are available for sale individually. Currently in storage in Bronx NY 10452.
