Rare detailed map produced by Adolf Stieler, creator of some of the most detailed maps of the 19th century. This beautiful map with excellent detail and original hand-coloring is engraved on thick paper with a nice strong impression from the engraving plate. Stieler maps are regarded as some of the most precise maps of the 19th century, having numerous re-issues spanning over 100 years. Sheet size of map is 18'' x 14.5''. Very good condition.
