Shipping Details:
In-House Shipping: LA Auctions offers in-house shipping for most items. We aim to ship within 3–5 business days after full payment is received.
Carriers Used: Our primary carrier is Canada Post (domestic & international). For oversized or heavy items, we may use DHL, Purolator, UPS, or other freight services.
Insurance & Tracking: All shipments include tracking and $100 insurance. Additional insurance can be purchased upon request.
Packaging Fees: A packaging fee applies to all shipments (Envelopes $3 | Parcels $9).
Combined Shipping: We are happy to combine shipping for multiple items when possible to save you money.
Oversized & Freight Items: Items requiring pallet shipping are the buyer’s responsibility to arrange. These must be collected within the designated pickup window.
Pick-Up Only Items: Some items cannot be shipped and will be marked “Pick-Up Only” in the description. Buyers are responsible for arranging pickup.
Customs & Duties: USA & International buyers are responsible for all customs, duties, and import fees.

Lost or Damaged Shipments: We are not responsible for delays or damage once items are in the carrier’s possession. Claims must be filed with the carrier directly.
Payment Details:
Payment Timeline: All invoices must be paid within 48 hours of receiving your invoice notification.
Accepted Methods: We accept credit card, e-transfer, and other approved methods listed in your invoice.
Automatic Payments: Credit cards on file may be charged automatically at the close of the auction. By bidding, you authorize LA Auctions to charge your card for the total due, including:
Hammer price of items purchased
Buyer’s premium (14%)
Applicable taxes
Shipping, handling, and insurance fees (if applicable)
Ownership & Risk: Title and risk of purchased items transfer to you upon full payment. Items must be paid in full before removal or shipping.
Unpaid Items: Items not paid for within 7 days of auction close will be considered abandoned. Payments made may be forfeited to cover advertising, handling, and storage costs, and items may be resold.
Refunds & Chargebacks: All sales are final. No refunds, returns, or chargebacks will be accepted. By placing a bid, you agree to these conditions and waive any right to dispute charges with your payment provider.

General
In the event of an electronic failure during an auction, all items sold prior to the failure remain due and payable. If the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable time, LA Auctions reserves the right to cancel the remainder of the auction and relist unsold items at a later date.
LA Auctions is not responsible for any claims, demands, or actions arising from the sale, handling, removal, use, or transportation of purchased goods. Buyers agree to indemnify and hold harmless LA Auctions, its employees, and agents from any claims, losses, expenses, or damages directly or indirectly caused by or resulting from any action or omission connected with the auction.
Payment
Winning bidders will receive notification within 48 hours of the auction close.
In the event of a dispute over the highest bid or validity of a bid, LA Auctions’ sales records are final and binding.
Credit cards on file will be charged immediately upon the conclusion of the auction. By bidding, you authorize LA Auctions to charge your card for the full amount owing, including purchase price, buyer’s premium, shipping, and handling costs.
Title and risk of purchased items transfer to the buyer upon payment in full. Items must be paid in full before removal or shipping.
Items not paid for or claimed within 7 days of auction close will be considered abandoned, and all payments may be forfeited to cover advertising, handling, and storage costs.
Buyer’s Premium
A buyer’s premium of 14% + applicable taxes is added to all purchases.
All bidders must be of legal age and register with accurate information, including a valid credit card.
Items may have reserves as set by consignors.
LA Auctions reserves the right to add or remove items, update descriptions, or correct errors at any time. If there is a conflict between a description and a photo, the description takes precedence.
When multiple lots of identical items are offered, a representative photo may be used. Actual items may vary slightly in cosmetic appearance or packaging.
Item Condition
All items are sold “As Is, Where Is” with no warranties expressed or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
Buyers are responsible for reviewing photos and descriptions and asking questions before bidding.
All sales are final—no refunds, returns, exchanges, or bid retractions.
Pick-Up
Pick-up is by appointment only. Use the same name as your registered bidder account when scheduling.
If someone else is picking up for you, their full name must be provided at the time of booking.
Items must be collected within 5 days of auction close unless alternate arrangements are made before the scheduled pick-up time.
Items not collected within this time frame, without prior arrangement, will be considered abandoned and forfeited to LA Auctions.
Shipping
The credit card used for registration will be charged for shipping, insurance, and handling fees.

Standard shipping is through Canada Post (domestic & international). All shipments include tracking and $100 insurance.
Additional or expedited services (XpressPost, Priority, etc.) are available upon request.
Oversized or heavy items requiring freight or pallet shipping are the buyer’s responsibility to arrange.
Some items may be marked “Pick-Up Only” in their description and cannot be shipped.
International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees.
Combined shipping is available where practical. Packaging fees: Envelopes $3 | Parcels $9.
