Tall, statuesque, & so very Arts & Crafts, this antique rocking chair is to die for, a must if you are a collector of arts & crafts furniture!

This charming, graceful, and unique little bentwood Arts & Crafts era, art deco rocking chair may well be a one-of-a-kind creation. It certainly doesn't look mass-produced.

With it's tall back, upholstered head rest, padded, upholstered seat, both in a soft and sweet floral pattern with blues, greens, and yellows; and the most unusual rocker that extends up into a comfy footrest this would be a lovely addition to a little one's nursery, a tropical patio, or anywhere you might want to invite relaxation or a pleasant daydream.

There is really only one area that I found that a new owner might choose to have reworked but this would be more elective than required and the chair will work just fine as it is. I've included a photo of a metal strip that is across the base of the back rest, which seems to be securing it to the seat. I'm not a carpenter or an engineer, so I can't really comment on why it's there or what alternatives might be, only that it's there.

Please feel free to email me with any questions or to request additional photos of this most unusual example of arts and crafts flights of fancy!
