Letter to Mr. Lichter in response to the question, “What is your view of the present character of Judaism in America?” In part: “It would be very interesting indeed to answer the question for your symposium…but, unfortunately, my great pianistic activity (over 100 concerts a year) and the preparation for it does not allow me to write articles and your theme certainly calls for it.” In fine condition, with some trivial creasing to edges.
