Arthur Osterwall (1910–1990) was a Swedish band leader, composer, vocalist and double bassist who was also a jazz columnist and entertainment reporter in the Evening Post. Vintage ink signatures of the Arthur Osterwall Orchestra on an off-white 4.5 x 3.5 sheet, including: Arthur Osterwall, Ake 'Stan' Hasselgard, Bertil Frylmark, and two others. Matted with a photo of the band to an overall size of 9.5 x 11.75. In fine condition. Hasselgard was a Swedish jazz clarinetist (1922–1948) who moved to New York City and played with Jack Teagarden and Max Roach before joining the septet of Benny Goodman in 1948, the same year Hasselgard was killed in a car accident.
