Group lot consisting of two TLSs, two ALS, an ANS, and a signed envelope, signed “Arthur Miller,” “A. Miller,” and “Arthur,” dated between 1967 and 1971. Letter content includes Miller’s reluctance to review a book of short stories, a possible charitable contribution, a brief review of the book Lotus in a Sea of Fire, and his forwarding of a play he is writing, which Miller admits to being “struck blind” by. The ANS, written in pencil, in full: “For your information, Re: Thick What Harks, A. Miller.” The mailing envelope, signed on the reverse in blue ballpoint, “Arthur Miller, Roxbury, Conn. 06783.” Also includes a copy of the referenced play, entitled “The Reason Why.” In overall fine condition, with the upper left corner of the 1971 clipped off. Accompanied by two mailing envelopes, addressed in Miller’s own hand.
