<B>Arthur Conan Doyle: First Edition of <I>The Lost World</B></I></B></I> (London New York Toronto: Hodder and Stoughton, 1912), first edition, 319 pages, blue cloth with white titles and gilt illustration of Challenger on the front board, 12mo (5" x 7.5"), no dust jacket. The first Challenger novel, and Doyle's most famous work after his Sherlock Holmes canon.
