Wallet issued specially for the 1969 Davis Cup, owned and used by Arthur Ashe. Black leather wallet opens to a flap bearing gilt lettering, ''DAIVS CUP / 1969''. Tucked under the flap is a trio of boarding pass stubs from Ashe's travels, with one belonging to his wife Jeanne Moutoussamy. Wallet measures 4'' x 3.25'' closed. Heavy wear to edges and corners, with some separation to bottom edge at fold and a cluster of abrasions to one cover, else very good. With an LOA from Arthur Ashe's widow.
