Plaque bears the magazine's logo and reads, ''Sportsman / of the Year / 1992 / Arthur Ashe / For Symbolizing in Character and Performance / The Ideals of Sportsmanship''. Impressive and coveted trophy replicates the iconic black-figure amphoras of antiquity. Vase is mounted to a 7'' square base to an overall height of 18.5''.
