Ashe's priorities are revealed through his concise, utilitarian entries, which serve as reminders for his various public engagements and events of personal significance to him. This year apparently saw Ashe attend the premiere of ''The Color Purple'', undergo hospitalization, and call Jesse Jackson. In tennis, Ashe notes Wimbledon, the Davis Cup, U.S. Open and more. He also notes his frequent meetings with the USTA, ATP and Davis Cup. Media appearances include a BET interview and the Tonight Show. Notations in Ashe's hand appear on almost every page of the spiral-bound Day-At-A-Glance book. Features a black faux-leather soft cover. Measures 5.75'' x 8.25''.
