Arthur Ashe UCLA alumni award medal. Ashe received a scholarship to UCLA as an undergrad in 1963, helping to lead the tennis team to an impressive number of victories before turning pro. Front of bronze medal is engraved: ''UCLA Alumni Award For Excellence'' with ''Alumnus of the Year / Arthur Ashe '66'' engraved to verso. Measures 2.5'' in diameter with a blue ribbon measuring 16.25'' x 1.5''. Near fine condition. With an LOA from Ashe's widow.
