''Heart of America Council'' plate awarded to Arthur Ashe. The tennis great was recognized by this scouting group on 20 April 1982, undoubtedly for his dedication to the sport and his humanitarian endeavors. Bronze plate bears an embossed eagle and shield insignia atop a fleur-de-lis design in the center, with Ashe's name and the name of the group and date engraved. Wendell August Forge's stamp appears on the underside. Measures 7'' in diameter. Some tarnishing, else near fine. With an LOA from Ashe's widow.
