Arthur Ashe's personally owned Davis Cup pen, engraved ''1981 Davis Cup Final'' across pen cap. The Davis Cup serves as the premiere mens' international competition, run by the International Tennis Federation (ITF). Ashe captained the U.S. Davis Cup team in 1981, the year designated on this pen. Bronze pen has heavy tarnishing throughout. Pen measures 5'' across. Ink missing, though can be refilled. Very good condition. With an LOA from Ashe's widow.
