Art retro 1940s era smoking stand in beautifully restored condition featuring stone or onyx base with nickel plated mounts and airplane. This piece was obtained by a prominent Southern California collector from a 2nd World War era employee ofHughes Aircraft Company. By tradition this piece was in the corporate offices and was used many times by the legendary Howard Hughes (has a small tobacco humidor for pipe tobacco and lighter) but no direct documentation. Little John’s has knownof this piece for over 30 years and is aware that it came out of Hughes Aircraft. Measures approximately 32” in height.
