Item/Description: Kayserzinn Jugenstill Pewter Handled Tray. Iconic piece by the renowned 19th Century German pewter factory, founded by Johann Peter Kayser. Textured, wavy edged pewter basin with raised lilly pad. Outstretched leaves form the handle, on which rests a little inchworm! Exquisite detail, fluid design inspired by nature. Hallmarked on underside: Kayserzinn 4321; 31. (According to the research the model number "4000" was introduced in 1894-5 and the last, number "4999" was produced in 1925.)

Material: Pewter.

Dimensions: 9"L x 7 1/2"W x 7"H; approximately 620 grams ( 1.4 lbs)

Condition: Very Good.

Age: Circa 1900s.

Provenance: Private Estate.
