Rare Art Deco diamond and platinum wristwatch By Dione Berthoud Watch Co.
It features a two piece rectangular case attached to a hinged integrated platinum bracelet with pierced floral inspired lugs.
It is decorated with 111 round cut diamonds that weigh approximately 2.60cts total and centrally set with a interwoven mesh design.
The watch measures 5 1/2" long and terminates with a highly etched rectangular clasp topped with a folding "security" buckle.
It weighs 21.67dwt which gives you $1500 just in scrap platinum value!
This is a high grade Swiss 15 jewel nickel plated brass baguette movement with a lever escapement signed "Dione Berthoud Watch Co".
It is topped with an original silver painted dial with large Art Deco indexes and blue steel Breguet hands.
