This fantastic old smoky grey and white glass decanter and matching four glasses is by Bimini of Vienna Austria. A lovely woman decorated the interior of the decanter. The stems of the glasses depict a mermaid, elephant, dolphin and what appears to be a playful penguin or anteater. No hallmarks. Possibly designed by Fritz Lampl (1892-1955), founder of the Bimini workshop, which operated in Vienna from 1923 to 1938. I believe this set is known as the Prancing Ladies and dates from circa 1930. Excellent condition. No known cracks, chips or restorations. Decanter measures 8.5" x 4.25" and glasses measure 3.8" x 2.75". This delicate set weighs 11 total ounces. Thanks for visiting.
