Italian composer and librettist (1842–1918) best known for the opera Mefistofele. ALS in Italian, two pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.5 x 7.25, March 13, 1879. Untranslated letter to a gentleman. In fine condition, with some stray ink flecks to second page and a small pencil notation to top of first page.
