<B>Around the World in 80 Minutes (United Artists, 1931).</B></I> Half Sheet (22" X 28"). An early example of a "vanity" production, this feature-length documentary is comprised of glorified home movies taken by film star Douglas Fairbanks Sr. during a trip to the Orient with several friends. This rare half sheet has a 6" tear and a 1" tear in the left border. There is a large curved tear from the lower border into Fairbanks's name. There is a chip off of the lower right corner as well as a couple in the upper border. <I>From the collection of Jim Ashton</B></I>.
